Sunteck Realty Board Approves Enabling Resolution to Raise Up to ₹2,250 Crore via Debt and Equity Instruments

Sunteck Board Approves Financing Framework for Expansion

Sunteck Realty reported a 25.5 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 41.96 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. Alongside the quarterly results announcement, the board cleared an enabling resolution to raise up to Rs 2,250 crore through a mix of non-convertible debt and equity or equity-linked securities, with Rs 1,500 crore earmarked for private placement debt and Rs 750 crore for potential share or convertible issuances.

Capital Structure and Flexibility

The equity fundraise portion is subject to shareholder approval. The company stated this is an enabling resolution, and specific issue details are not yet available. The board approved the enabling resolution to raise up to Rs 2,250 crore through various modes, including QIP, FPO, ADRs, GDRs, rights issue, preferential issue, FCCBs and debt securities.

The financing framework provides Sunteck with multiple pathways to access capital markets based on market conditions and operational requirements. The sizeable funding envelope underscores Sunteck's intent to maintain financial flexibility for expansion and project financing, with implications for its capital structure and future growth trajectory.

Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

Revenue increased marginally to Rs 191.56 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year from Rs 188.32 crore in Q1 FY2026. EBITDA increased 38.7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 66.8 crore from Rs 48.1 crore in the same period of FY26, with the company reporting an uptick in its EBITDA margin to 34.9 per cent from 25.6 per cent.

Pre-sales momentum remained strong. The real estate company reported pre-sales of around Rs 787 crore in Q1 FY27, a 20 per cent Y-o-Y increase.

Earlier in June 2026, India Ratings and Research affirmed Sunteck's long-term issuer rating at 'IND AA' with a Stable outlook, citing its robust operational performance in FY26 and strong financial risk profile.
